The bar manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the chain's restaurants. This role combines elements of recruiting and training bar staff and creating new drink menus. Manage staff and ensure that the bar department operates efficiently and profitably. Roles and Responsibilities: * Staff Management - Recruit and train bar staff to meet restaurant needs. - Ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and events. - Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for staff. * Customer Service - Ensure all Bar staff always provide welcoming and friendly service to customers. - Ensure all Bar staff can handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently. - Ensure high-quality service, including preparing and serving drinks. * Inventory Management: - Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels. - Monitor and track beverage costs, waste, and theft. - Implement inventory control systems. * Quality Control: - Set and enforce quality standards for drinks and presentation. - Regularly taste-test and evaluate new and existing drink recipes. - Ensure drinks are prepared and served according to established recipes and standards. * R&D - Research about products - Developing new drink recipes: creating quality cocktails and drinks. - Integration with food such as chef collaboration to coordinate drinks with food, creating a unique culinary experience for customers. * Compliance and Safety: - Ensure adherence to local alcohol regulations and health and safety standards. - Train staff on responsible alcohol service and safety protocols. - Handle regulatory and licensing requirements for the establishment.
YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
- 2-3 years’ experience in Bar Manager position. - In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails. - Ability to recruit and lead team, ability to train and guide employees. - Ability to work independently and in a high-pressure environment.
