Design To Cost Engineer CÔNG TY TNHH FRIWO VIỆT NAM

* Job Duties: - Work in the Research and Development team providing expertise from a Design to Cost (DtC) for the design and manufacturing of power supplier, charger products. - Review Build of Materials (BOM) cost and analyze current engineering design to get cost reduction ideas and proposed new DtC initiatives. - Participate in the identification of design ideas related to DtC. - Review manufacturing processes, process capabilities, tooling philosophy and provides recommendations as needed. - Support DtC action plan, coordinate its implementation and draw conclusions. - Support recommendation to management on strategies to achieve cost reduction targets. - Support Alternative Components Approval (ACA) requested by Purchasing team. - Support Documentation team in the preparation of Product Change Request (PCR). - Work with Purchasing team/Customers/ Suppliers to replace high quality components with low cost. - Testing and evaluation to ensure the product meets the specifications after changing new components.

* Requirement/Experience: - Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic. - Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience with analog and digital circuit development including design, debugging and validation. - Good understanding of design, manufacturing and quality processes used in power supplier, charger products. - Knowledge of different topologies and related waveforms. - Having prior experience in DtC activities or other cost reduction program optimization activity is a plus. - Knowledge of thermal management, magnet components design, EMC and safety requirements. - Experience in using CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout, Pulsonix is a plus. - Familiar with the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers. - Experience with Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing, Design to Reliability. - Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications. - Proficient in soldering and electronics troubleshooting.
